Gohain Institute of Nursing, Milijuli Nagar, Namgharpath, Panjabari was established in the memory of my father Late Akan Ch. Borgohain who was very kind hearted to the poor people.

Nursing is a dynamic, therapeutic and educative process in meeting the health needs of the individuals, the family and the community. It is an art of carrying the seek people with the science of health care. The maintenance of optimum level of health is the requirement of the individuals and social responsibilities. Nursing as a profession, cater the needs of appropriate health care influenced by advances of Science and Technology.

Gohain Institute of Nursing, Milijuli Nagar, Namgharpath, Panjabari, Ghy-37 seeks to provide the ANM/GNM Course initially to meet the best educational needs of Nursing in the State. We are trying to upgrade our institute to B.Sc. Nursing and onwards.
