LIBRARY:

The institute has its finest library and sufficient number of books having National and International Nursing Journals and other journals. News papers both Assamese and English versions are available in the Library. Neat and clean atmosphere in the library with 60 students can reading at a time.

HOSTEL ACCOMODATION:

The institute has its own Girls Hostel in the same campus having 60 seat capacities with 24 hours running water facilities and sufficient number of toilets and bath-rooms, power back up facilities, CCTV coverage inside and outside area of the hostel.

GAMES AND SPORTS:

The institute has its small playground for badminton, Kabbadi, short race etc. Indoor games such as Carom, Chess, luddo, Chinese Checker etc. are available in the institute as well as in the hostel premises. GINWEEK will be organized by the authority once in a year in the month of February every year. GINWEEK includes varieties of events and competitions to giving ample opportunities to showcase all their talents.

ACCOMODATION OF TEACHERS:

Residential accommodation for Principal and teaching faculties is available in the hostel campus with certain rules.

TRANSPORT

Good transport facilities are available for staff and students to do their practical/clinical works in different hospitals and other community fields. Institute has its own Eicher bus Reg. No. AS-01LC 4482 having 26 seat capacities is available for transportation of the students. There are two another field cars for rural field work having seven and five seats capacities respectively.

AUDITORIUM:

A composite auditorium with facilities of large meeting, cultural activities etc. is always ready for the students of Gohain Institute of Nursing.

AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS:

The institute has sufficient number of Audio-Visual Aids such as Computers, Over Head Projector, TV with educational disc, LCD projector, Desktop and laptop for projection computer facility, models, charts, skeleton and manikins/simulators, neonatal resuscitation equipments, 7nos. of home visiting bags, delivery kits etc. Printers, Scanners, Punching machine, Lamination Machine, I card cutter, Megastar Microphone with sound box, music instruments. The institute has been providing computer education to all the students.

UNIFORM

Light green suider-kurta and white surny for ANM students light violet suider-kurta and white surny for GNM students at school time and White suider-kurta, white apron for clinical experience.

PAYMENT OF DUES:

  • Students must have clear their Admission fee at the time of admission. However, there maybe two installments for poor applicant. Minimum 50% (Approx) of the total must have pay at the time of admission. Second installment @ 25% (Approx) of the total to be cleared after three months Third installment @ 25% of the total will be cleared after six months.
  • Once a candidate is admitted to the Institute the fees is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances. All reasons shown for refund or transfer will be turned down.
  • Delay of admission fee within the stipulated time her admission will liable to be cancelled. All admission fees and hostel fee will be cleared before filling up the form of their Final Examinations conducted by Assam Nursing Council, Guwahati-22.
  • Hostel rent for fooding and lodging is Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees five thousand only) per monthto be paid monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly.
  • Hostel fees will be hiked subject to increase the market price.
  • Hospital management fee and bus fair extra.
  • Registration and Examination fees will be charged extra in addition to prescribed fees.
