The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
\nii. The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
\niii. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing 12 years of schooling (10+2 year Course) recognized by CBSE\/ICSE\/SSSCE\/ HSCE or a recognized equivalent Examination passed.
\niv. Admission is strictly on merit basis.
\nv. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:<\/p>\n

i. 10+2 with 40% marks from any recognized board. However Science is preferable.
\nii. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central
\nGovernment.
\niii. Registered ANM.
\niv. 10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing
\nCouncil.
\nv. 10+2 Health care Science \u2013 Vocational stream from a recognized CBSE
\nboard\/State\/Centre.
\nvi.\u00a0For foreign nationals
\nThe entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, StateNursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Reservation<\/strong><\/h5>\n

a) For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotors to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.
\nb) 5% is relaxed for SC\/ST candidates.
\nc) Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
\nd). Admission of students shall be once in a year.
\ne). Students shall be medically fit.
\nf). Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM\/ for LHV, there is no age bar.<\/p>\n

*Note: (i) A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotors of 40% to 50%.<\/p>\n

*Note: (ii)Quotas shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of the seatssanctioned and not above it.<\/p>\n
